Camp Rules

  • Camp Barnard RulesAll Users are required to report to the Camp Ranger for check-in and check-out.

  • Camp emergencies must be reported to the Camp Caretaker immediately.

  • Fire exits must not be blocked.

  • DO NOT drive vehicles "Off Road" in Camp. Park in designated parking lots only. Vehicles not in the parking lots may be subject to towing at the Owner’s expense.

  • Alcoholic beverages are not permitted at Camp Barnard without a Liquor Licence. Recreational use of marijuana is not permitted at Camp Barnard.
  • Smoking is permitted only in designated smoking areas, out of view, hearing, and smell of any youth in camp. No butts are to be left in these areas. Persons under the age of 19 will not be permitted to smoke anywhere in camp.

  • The use of firearms, including air rifles, and handguns is not permitted at any time on camp property.
  • Absolutely NO PETS

    are permitted in any area at Camp. Only certified therapy and assistance animals are welcomed. 
  • All campers are asked to observe quiet time after 10pm until 7:00am.

  • Fires must be in designated fire pit areas only. Do not leave fires burning unattended; ensure they are fully extinguished after use. A bucket of sand or water must be available for fire extinguishing. Keep all fires a manageable size and obey fire bans. Ignoring manditory fire bans may lead to being asked to leave the property.

  • Firewood will be provided subject to availability. Do not cut or burn deadfall or trees.

  • All equipment and furniture is to be returned to its correct/original location.

  • Camp courtesy is to request entry to other sites.

  • The discretion of the Camp Ranger shall prevail in all matters of conduct and safety.

  • Ensure all campers know the rules.
