The largest tenting area in the centre part of camp has a number of individual tenting areas with lots of trees for tarping, campfire circles, adjacent water standpipes, grey water pits, washroom block, and, if booked in advance, the use of Thompson Field Shelter, a 30x20 kitchen shelter with counters, wood burning stove, and picnic tables. The shelter has power, but no appliances are installed.

Thompson Cabins
There are 4 cabins in Thompson Field, 2 north and 2 south of the Thompson Cook shelter and share that facility. These cabins are ideal for smaller groups as each cabin is divided into 2 units with 4 bunks in each.
No vehicles are permitted in Thompson Field.
