Time Capsule Placement - 12 March 2025 at Camp Barnard
UPSIDE TV crew at camp for a tour of camp and the filming of the placing of the 50th Anniversary of
Beavers time capsule.
The time capsule will have Greater Victoria Beaveree event badges in it from as far back as 1980,
and the group crest of each group who attended the 50th Birthday Beaveree in May 2024. In
addition, it will hold the guest book signed by those youth and scouters who attended the 50th event
as well.
The time capsule will be buried for 25 years and taken back out of the ground in 2049! Will you be
there when they open it up?
A short event will be planned for Beavers and their Scouters to be held at camp in the evening of
March 12th. The Beavers will participate in a fun activity, help bury the time capsule and may be
filmed by the camera crew. Photos will be taken for the Archives. Light refreshments will be served
afterward. Youth attending will need to have a photo release in place.
Start and end time will be announced soon. Check with your Beaver Scouters for more information
